- Support the door and inspect the board
Remove the affected fixing. The material around the hole must be firm, not rotten, crumbling or broken away.
- Check the hole and panel depth
Match the hole to the 6 mm sleeve diameter and allow room for its 14 mm length and the screw. Prepare the hole with a suitable drill bit only if needed. Do not drill through the panel.
- Seat the sleeve and align the hinge
Place the sleeve fully into the prepared hole, then line up the hinge fixing hole over it.
- Tighten gently and check the result
Fit the matching screw and tighten until firm without over-tightening. Support the door while checking the hinge and its opening and closing movement.
Tools are not included. You may need a suitable screwdriver and, where hole preparation is required, a drill and bit.

What tools will I need?
Use a suitable screwdriver and, if the existing hole needs preparation, a drill and suitable bit. The pack includes sleeves and screws; bring your own tools and use your existing suitable hinge.
How do I install the sleeve?
Support the door, prepare the fixing hole, seat the sleeve fully and align the hinge. Fit the matching screw and tighten gently until firm, then check the door movement. Follow the illustrated steps above.
